The story
The May 27, 2006, race drew 93 cars to West Plains. Chris Madden set fast time at 15.507 seconds, while Wallace secured his feature position with a heat victory.
Brad Neat led the opening lap and Justin Wells controlled laps 2 through 32. Wallace moved ahead on lap 33 and led the remaining 68 circuits to win $40,000. Bill Frye finished second, followed by Bloomquist, Wells and Skip Arp.
Wallace joined Billy Moyer, Freddy Smith and Bloomquist as a multiple winner. The 24-car feature distributed $158,850 in posted payouts.
